I have the exact same white car 1992 , with the exact same dimple but its a sedan !! Mine is running great even though it has touched 2,56,000. I must say it never gave any running or else other problems. I bought it from its second owner last summer and i was suspicious it will break down in a few months since i got it for $2600 only; but as i drove it, it prooved itself every day, so much so that i decided to take it to a 400 kilometer road trip, it prooved itself YET AGAIN.

The car Drives fine on 100k + as well, and surprisingly is still good on gas even though the engine is old, but it ain't greedy so drinks less gold haha !! Just get it a $500 service of "every thing" once in a year and its good for the whole year along with the every 5000 km oil change. Thats how i cared it, and it never led me down, never ever.

Great car great choice !! I am graduating this summer with a Diploma and already got and started an Analyst's job so i was thinking about getting a new car but then i changed my mind, i've decided to renovate my civic get some leather seats and a moonroof on it; get the glass tinted a bit and a new stereo and it'll be gud for another two years till i do Bachelors degree part time.

Great Car for students, gud on gas, less maintainance and insurance ain't that much compared to newer cars !!

Awwwww, thanks, Justin! Maybe I'll give it a shot, odder things have happened! By the way, I haven't fallen for the Prius the way I did for Old Paint; just not the right chemistry I guess. My husband adores it, though. I still hope for a Fit one of these years. Just hope I don't have to wait until the Prius breaks down first :-)

Great piece of writing here, I was interested in you and Old Paint's life story the whole time. The description was the best part, I could see myself slamming on the breaks and hitting a deer, and in a parking lot painting. You should really consider trying to publish something.

Update on the Honda thing: I couldn't get my Honda Fit! After nearly 2 months, I gave up- the dealer couldn't find me a stick shift. I'm still getting over it, and I still want one, but I ended up with a Toyota Prius (so THERE, Honda!)which I like just fine and is growing on me.

Thanks for the compliment on my robocop Civic! I still get misty-eyed when I think about it!
