Thank you for sharing your beautiful sketches! I love field sketching myself. I would say better than capturing the images on camera. At least in ten years down the road you know where your sketch books are. Mine are on a shelf and I continue to go back to them for reference. I have no idea where the photographs have gone for that day.
    Happy Exploring, Daryl

This is amazing! how did I even find it? I am right now in BCI and Im seeing exactly the same animals. I brought a small sketch book but I donĀ“t find the moment or the courage to open it and start drawing, any tip?

No time like the present. Take an hour if you have it around dawn and sit on the Visitor Center balcony, or go up to the ballcourt and sit and watch what’s flying into the cecropias and viola trees. Lots of toucan and guan action right there, frequently howlers. Just sit quietly and watch, then sketch a little. Don’t try to make a masterpiece. Even just draw a leaf or fallen fruit to get warmed up. The animals will wait for you. Good luck. What are you doing on BCI? It’s an awesome place, isn’t it?
